Stumbled across this today and it looks interesting. Maybe not $5K interesting though.

E-CLIK utilizes 12 inputs from the Toyota’s onboard sensors (utilizing the OBD2 port) and our IMU to automatically adjust itself 500 times a second, based on the terrain and driving conditions.
    • Independent Front & Rear Shock Adjustment, Payload Compensation, & Tire Size Adjustment
    • Improves overall traction and braking, while reducing body roll in corners
    • Improved Speed Capability in rougher terrain
    • The Pro menu allows you to go a step further with tuning adjustments
    • Easy Plug & Play Installation, no cutting or splicing
    • 2.5” Coil over shocks feature a built-in bump zone, 3 internal limiting clips, proprietary seals, and 7/8ths shafts for the ultimate performance
    • Provides 2-3” of lift on Tacoma & 4Runner Models
    • Adjustable preload on 650lb spring (700lb Spring available separately)
    • We strongly suggest installation of aftermarket upper control arms
    • Made in the USA

I’ve been watching YouTube videos this past weekend. I’m quite interested and might go this route when it’s time to lift the Tacoma. I agree the price is quite high but also not egregious considering a high end Kings or Fox setup. Maybe there’ll be a Black Friday discount??

I just received my set, this will be replacing an ICON stage 4 kit.

Wont be able to finish installing it for a few weeks but the instructions are less complete than I would like for a consumer product and it looks like the wiring for the touch screen is upside down. Nothing thats difficult to correct, ill see what happens as I go forward with the install.

The wiring harness is well done overall and very easy to ID what goes where, and the rear shocks are beefy compared to the ICON 2.0 rears that I had.

I love the concept and that its stand alone. I almost bought the ICON kit but it requires an iphone to make adjustments and that was a disqualifier for me.

Ill post a review once its installed and I get some time with it.

I have E-Click Pro version on my Jeep Gladiator and love it. Lots of adjustment on the fly without getting out the cab.

Depending on my adjustment, I can set it to corner almost like a sport car. You'll want to go even faster on those curvy freeway on/off ramps. :burnrubber:

Seriously considering pulling the trigger on this! @point45 where did you order your set from? And what was the lead time?

Shock surplus, it said low stock but they didn't have any. It was 8 or 9 weeks to delivery. I was fine with the wait as I dont have much free time to install them even if they shipped next day.

I'm hoping this gives me the tighter on road and desert running stability of the icons but softer ride when it comes to low speed stuff like kings shocks.

That would definitely be the goal of this setup! And from everything I’ve read/watched they do seem to handle as designed.

Definitely post some photos of the suspension. Would love to see the goods before the install!

I installed the front shocks last night so no pics of them in the box.

Thanks! I’m going to wait until Black Friday hoping there’s a discount. If not I’m going to purchase a set. They look really nice too!

I sucked it up and stayed up late installing this over the last couple days. Most of that time was running the wiring, still not 100% done with that as I need to move some existing accessory wiring and relays around to tuck it away.

Still playing with the adjustments but I like it so far, feels like I have the roll bar back in the truck. You can definitely feel a difference when you make adjustments or drive in different modes.

One thing I didnt think about is that my 05 is a pretty simple truck, I dont think it has a steering angle sensor or the correct brake sensor so the adjustments for that are useless in the SDI system and will probably just run off the IMU. I can not tell a difference when making adjustments to those two settings. Would be nice if the interface had a way to show what the sensors are reading.

Initial feelings on it is that its a great all around suspension. Lets you do 80% of what a purpose built suspension does, for example soaking up hard hits like a digressive valve shock but still be soft at lower speeds but it doesnt quite do it as well as if it was purpose built for one or the other. I did not expect this to outshine something made for a specific task, I wanted flexibility which this does. The truck handles much better and feels more planted around town but is not quite as harsh as my icons were. Real test will be how it does out in the field.

After I play with this more I will do a more complete write up.

Thanks for the initial impressions! I think it’s really awesome that SDI included the IMU in addition to getting info from the OBDII.

Post install pics of the electronics when you get a chance. I was reading up on it and like the fact they recommend installing the interface on the door trim. That’ll pace it close to my spod touchscreen which is mounted directly over the left most vent. Need to think about where to mount the eco however as my spod is mounted over my fuse box. Wonder if I can just mount it over that with some spacers? Or might have to reconsider my electronics install.

The housing they include really only lets you mount it there. The back of the control unit is just a thin nut to tighten it down to the mount, so anywhere you can drill a hole would let you mount it or make your own. It would need room for the screw on connector and there's enough extra wire to let you move it around but it would probably still have to be around the drivers left side.

For electronics, if you have a scangauge or other OBD reader you will need a splitter if doesnt have one already to keep using it along with the SDI system.

There's some room to move the ecu. There's enough wire to move it maybe 5-7 inches forward in the bay and of course anywhere inside of that radius.

I’m thinking I’d probably have to fabricate something to mount the SDI ECU, SPOD and a fuse block. Being a newer manual, the clutch fluid reservoir sits on my the left apron and I do not know of a tray that would work. Gonna start figuring it out soon.
