Trying to figure out satellite radio functionality on 2010 Tacoma here's a pic of the radio console...

    20201127_180406.jpg

    Has AM / SAT button.

I know I've got to call Sirius XM to transfer my service from my Jetta to this vehicle.

In one know how I get this receivers ID to give 2 Sirius XM?

Any other tips / tricks ?

While you have the XM pre-wire kit, unfortunately more than likely you do not have the receiver. I have the same issue on my truck, but mine has an oldschool Ipod adapter kit plugged into it instead.

On mine (2012) once you select “XM”,
The XM preview channel starts playing. Then tune the station up or down. The “radio ID” will display instead of the next/previous station. If you don’t get XM preview channel, then you probably don’t have the receiver, only the prewire as stated earlier.
