Sup everyone! I wanted to introduce my Solid Axle Swapped 2017 toyota tacoma trd offroad.

Not going to list all the parts but if you are interested in seeing it you can take a look at my mod list here.
    http://build.automodlist.com/mtnapex

Custom 3 link suspension up front and 4 link rear suspension.

1 ton Ford junk yard axles with a sterling 10.5 rear axle.

Some info on Electronic's: Fabricator tried really hard to get the ABS functioning but was unsuccessful.
The ABS light stays on along with the traction control lights on the dash. Ebrake light stays on as well because i have no ebrake at the moment but currently working on a fix for that. None the lights are flashing. They just stay on constant which isnt too bad.
Speedometer / odometer are both 100% functioning on the digital display and instrument cluster. The Speedometer/odometer info is spot on accurate. I used hypertech calibration tool to program it for 40" tires. I also successfully uploaded a custom ov tune file and truck takes off and drives great. On the highway truck drives 80 mph straight with no hands on the steering wheel. Currently getting 13 mpg on my recent trip to Sacramento with having to fill up on E at 246 miles driven on the tank.

Rig has been doing well offroad. Only had time for a couple of easy trails to test the suspension but so far so good.

Will update this post once it hits some more difficult trails. Rig is currently back in the shop to get the ebrake done.

Hard to beat a solid front axle for durability and reliability when going off road. Jeeps still have them.

After selling my oem parts, oem rear axle, long travel kit the total I spent is 15k that includes parts and labor for the sas front and rear.
There is no more factory locker. It has all been deleted and now i use air lockers on the new ford rear axle.
The guy who did the work is no longer in business but he gave me a real good deal in return the rig took 2 years to complete.

FJ Tcase mated to a marlin crawler taco box.

Drive shafts are all custom from a shop in Montana using 1350 joints.

Yup , super duty up front.

Most people probably wouldn't do this to their 3rd gen. Just wanted to let everyone know that it is possible and not having ABS isn't the end of the world.
