    New to the area.

Looking to see if anyone has a local tire shop that’s good with prices and actually take cares of about your rims during mounting.

Got a set of TE37’s that I would like to mount to some 285/75 Yokohama Geolanders.

Yup, @Discount Tire is where I got my set. The smaller shops were more expensive.

Thirded or whatever for discount. Send them a PM. Super helpful.

I just spent the last week or researching tires trying to find the best prices. Discount killed it…well Americas Tire.

Like everyone else said. America's tire. But... they have scratched up my new wheels before. For te37s, I'd probably just buy the tires and get then mounted at a specialty shop

    @Discount Tire

This was 2 weeks ago. I brought in new wheels in boxes and had a new set of BFGs installed. One of the techs put 32 wheel weights on one wheel and didn't feel right. Brought it back and the flipped the tire and ended up not needing any weights at all. But they managed to scratch my new wheel.

They also put 1 completely different valve stem on one of my wheels. :)

    32? what in the world...

I'm no wheel tech, but you'd think after 8-10 wheel weights you'd try flipping the tire. I've been to several AT shops over my lifetime and there were maybe 1-2 shops that I didn't jive with. But overall they've treated me and my cars very well.

I use @Discount Tire fornthe GF's car and i used to use them for my truck. However, they scratched up my my F5s at two different shops when mounting tires. The shop closest to me said they won't mount tires on F5s anymore since they dont have a center cap. So no more discount tire for my truck.

Why would the lack of a center cap even matter in installing a tire?

When they put the wheel on the balancing machine they just dragged the wheel onto the spindle of the machine and scratched the bore of the wheel all up.

At least this was the excuse they gave me.

Go talk to these folks. They might not be the cheapest though. If you got real TE37s, you shouldn't be looking for the best prices, but for the best installers.

Zoeb at WD Garage in Fremont.
Jay at Vex Motorsports in Santa Clara
Sal at Klean Ridez Accessories in San Jose
Orlando at Auto Innovation in Milpitas

These are all good shops ran by good people.
