    Hey TacomaWorld!

I am so stoked to have finally joined the Taco family... just purchased a first gen and couldn't be more excited for the adventures to come!

Was wondering if anyone had recommendations for mechanics in san francisco proper. I'm located in the more northern / eastern part of SF but don't mind driving the extra few miles for a reliable & trustworthy shop.

    Cheers!

I used to take my Corolla to Toy Shop on Geary. They always seemed very trustworthy and reliable and specialize in Toyotas.

Just a basic servicing / inspection for now. Ideally I'd have a go to shop so they have all my records on file and are up to date w/ what the vehicle has gotten done post purchase!

A mechanic buddy of mine recommended Simon’s Auto Werks in Pacifica to me - as the place mechanics go when they don’t want to work on their own rigs. They’ve been great servicing my 2011 Tacoma.

Another vote for Waylon at Toy Shop. Solid dude and he is very “seasoned”…

Toy Shop for Toyota specific stuff. Always had great luck with Carlos at Freddie’s Auto Electric on 14th st. Real knowledgeable, not just of electrical things, and a Toyota truck guy himself.
