    Ever since the lollipop update I've had a problem with my phone loosing service (I get no reception at my house), then when I get to an area that I know I should get service I have to re-start my phone to get a signal again.

    I've looked for fixes through Google and the stuff I found was from 2014 and really didn't apply to my phone.

    So I tried this and so far it seems better but the true test will be when I leave my house, just tried it now and don't have a reason to leave. If your having this problem can you try this and then post whether the problem persists?

    -settings--->more networks---->mobile networks--->network mode--->select LTE/CDMA

    If you travel the world a lot you might not like this, but I don't have any plans to leave the US anytime soon.

    Hope this is a fix.

    I have the s5, allowed the update to Lollipoop, nothing but problems, made Verizon replace it!
    New phone is a POS, still getting the update notification, with no option to opt out!
    This shit sucks, I used to like my phone...:annoyed:

    I know right? Not sure how a company can release an update that fuck your phone up. Do you have a problem with loosing signal then have to re-start to get a signal again?

    No, different phone different issues, just pissed about all the problems with this "update".
    Really pissed that I can't opt out, and have to keep hitting the back button to avoid the update...
    Also, can't cable to my laptop, it trys to update automatically.

    Sucks. My phone is old so I don't think it can be replaced, but that doesn't sound like a fix. They need to just say screw this update and bring back to prior OS. I've read about the problem I'm having and over heating issues seem tp be the popular ones.

    Simple solution.. Just get a nexus phone. I've had lollipop on my nexus 5 for months without any issues.

    Mine started with the update, but works fine now. Didn't have to restart my phone to get reception.

    I now get reception at my house!
