Was driving on a bad front wheel bearing for about a month. Local trips, nothing major. Was okay.
Noise was really driving me nuts.
Thought it was the alignment and rear bearing at first, turned out to be the front.

Yeah, if you know it's bad. Do it now.
    Why risk it?

Always good to err on the side of caution, OP.

Well this has been going on for about a month and a half. Was only noticeable between 60 to 70 thought it was the tires. I bought new tires did not go away

Wise choice. Even if you have to rent a car, it will cost you far less than if you had a catastrophic failure on the trip. If you were only going 100 miles round trip, it would be a fairly safe gamble. But, with each additional 100 miles, your risk of failure goes up exponentially.

I wouldn't drive 100 miles suspecting bad wheel bearings.

Its safe to drive with the wheel bearing noise...as long as noise is the only symptom. But it will make driving extremely miserable, and you can't just turn the radio up to ignore the noise since the noise is louder than the radio. There also will be some very minor wheel drag...which will create minor steering pull at higher speeds as soon as you let off the throttle.

A guy at work had one of the hubs on his truck start making noise. Our shop foreman says it'll be ok for a little while. Not even a week later, I see it come in on a rollback truck with one of the tires leaning in. When he took the hub off, the roller bearings were falling out, badly worn and it looked like it got extremely hot.

Well I haven't had to turn my radio up anymore than usual and it is definitely not pulling to the side, but to err in caution it is not going on my trip and getting fixed ASAP.

I'll tell ya...I was hearing noise..thought it was my needle bearing...replaced it with the ECGS bushing. It wasn't the noise...and I did the Red Clay Rally (look it up). Drove from Virginia, all through Kentucky, W. Virginia, Tennessee. Lot's of highway to get there and back, lots of mud, rocks, etc during the rally. Nothing happened. I swapped it out when I got back. If it just started I would not worry about it.

I've been on both ends.. Had a Honda civic with a notably bad wheel bearing and drove it over a year.. Also had a chevy 1500 that just popped out of nowhere and had to have it towed..
