I'll probably get some flak about this after saying that those Carhartt Seat covers look awful due to the fit. I'm an old foagie and like saddle blanket style seat covers. Anyone got some? Any recommendations?

The thing I miss most about the old western style blanket covers (in my F-150) - was the front pocket ahead of the seat where my pistol fit perfect ............ None of these new covers seem to have that convenient space.

I have that on the wet okeolas in my 4runner. Never use it though, pistol stays in the holster.

This was during the twentysome years I lived / worked in Wyoming, I just used some fly fishing backer line to sew some appropriate shaped pocket dividers. Colt, six in a speed-loader, leatherman and fencing pliers. Not quite the same as living in places of population....... I've got the driverside Carhartt cover on the one side now and it fits fine - seldom have a shotgun rider. It just needs a pocket.

My brother recently bought a 4wd van to convert into a camper. The previous owner was proud of the baja seat covers, and my brother laughed about them and immediately removed them. I actually really liked them.

Hey guys I am not trying to offend anyone and I am not offended if you feel the Carhartt covers look like crap or fit poorly but I don't believe the other poster washed them prior to installing. Here are a few shots of the ones I have and I like them. Just my .2.

I love my new truck but miss my Tacoma
The back seat looks good but the front's look like they need to go through the dryer a few more times. Lol

I really like the armrest cover though!

LOL, yeah I haven't adjusted them in a year so. It is what it is. And the armrest cover is a custom job I made from the largest pair of pants I could get from Amazon. I got enough material to do the console cover and the door panel inserts.

I once bought a truck from the original owner that had saddle blanket seat covers. Come to find out he had put them on when the truck was brand new. Bully for me, because i got to enjoy the flawless seats beneath them on a 15 year old truck! I wish every previous owner used saddle blanket covers.
