    Hi folks!

This past weekend I installed a new Deaver J59 leaf pack by myself into my 2001 Prerunner (6 lug) and the install went smoothly but left me sore as heck for a coupe days. I've enjoyed working on the truck since I bought it in 2015 to learn and keep it running flawlessly, but this was a first for semi major suspension work.

Today some JBA UCAs showed up for my truck and I am not going to install them because I don't want to drive it afterwards until an alignment is done. Can someone recommend a quality shop(s) that is used to working with non factory parts? I've had good luck with my local 4wheelparts when they installed my OME 881 coils and aligned it afterwards, but their communication skills are sorely lacking. Ideally, at the same time the UCAs are installed, I am also going to mount a set of 265/75/16 tires before the alignment is done.

    Recommendations are appreciated!

I would highly recommend Stellar Built for the UCAs and alignment.

Stellar built in Sacramento is a good place to go. They are well-known in the off-road shop scene and from personal experience, they are good at what they do. I’d give them a call or email.

Thanks! I think I went to them a couple years ago when I was looking to have a rear bumper fabbed up. They aren't just metal fabrication? I'll definitely look at them again.

Nope they do almost everything now. Alignments, suspension installation, all of it.

You should ask this in the Northern California section too. You might get more/better replies.

    ALSO!!

To anyone experiencing axle wrap - I loathed that shit but it is now 100% gone with the new Deaver leaf pack. I gotta retorque my ubolts in about another 40 miles; I’ve driven 60 since the swap. Now, I no longer need to come to a stop like I’m transporting an open bowl of soup, which was the only way to almost always avoid it

Truck stops very smoothly now. New carrier bearing a year ago didn’t hurt either I bet.

Thanks again for the shop recommendations.

You can just eyeball the alignment cams, and that’s more than good enouh to get to the alignment shop, unles your shop is 500 miles away. Your truck wont explode.

Stallar built is a good shop, never had them do work for me, but I’ve seen their work, and they gave me a bunch of scrap steel to practice welding. So they’re cool.
