Went to the J-yard and found this Leaf springs on a S-10, does it worth to use it on my tacoma 2000 extended cab manual? from center to front measures 26" and to the back shackle 28". is 2 1/2" wide it looks in good shape and super beefy

Best way is to measure your leaf to see if they'd fit

If you can move things as needed you can make them work

You might need to get new shocks depending on the length from where the shocks attach

Anyone ever tried Dakota springs? Length is 1/2 longer overall, pin is close to offset of Tacoma, 1/8”. Just a thought. We used to use them on Cherokees to make bastard lead packs, used the top leaf on the Cherokee and the rest of the leafs from Durango pack.

S-10 leafs are spring under. They would probably be way too tall on a tacoma as spring over and may not even mount correctly.

what about that top leaf that is running on top of the axel of the S-10?
Oldyota Do you have the measurements of the rest of the toyotas pickups, like 94 and on?

Quick Google search shows 24 1/8” front eye to pin and 31 1/8” pin to rear eye on 01-04 Tacoma.

More searching shows about a 3” difference in free arch of S10 spring vs Tacoma.

I used my top leaf (the one with bolts through it) and replaced only the 2nd leaf with ones from a Dakota truck. I don't see why this would't work the same way. I didn't want a lot of lift but just wanted to replenish the sagging springs. Swap the leafs until you get your desired result. No regrets. Here's a few details of what I did. https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/omd-1st-gen-leaf-mod.500081/
