Rust Perforation Standard ... free frame replacement ...

my uncle has a Toyota Sequoia 2008

he got the frame recall letter - about the frame and Rust Perforation Standard

we got under the car and this is how bad/good the frame is - what do you think?

do you think it is possible for them to replace the frame?

what do you think?

and any tips/tricks/advice?

I would take it in, you really never know if they are gonna honor the recall or not. Usually you need to have some cracks or holes in the frame, but if its a 2008 you should have 15 years from original service date to get it done. So that would give you 4 more years I think. I've had two frames done by toyota on an 04 and 05, my dealership was super cool and honored it. Good luck!

 

it is all surface and i doubt toyota will fail that frame
