Has anybody used Rust-Oleum Truck Bed Coating? If so, what are your opinions of it? I have read that you can use it on metal or plastic - not sure how good it sticks to plastic though.

What I'm thinking of doing is coating the black plastic on my Tacoma front bumper (see picture). The black plastic on the front of the bumper is very soft so I'm thinking of using the bed coating to add an extra layer of protection to it. Do you think this would work? If not, what do you recommend?

I used the duplicolor bed armor with kevlar to shoot my front grille, since I have an affliction aganist chrome.
I did get a special adhesion primer from a sherwin williams store, that I primed the plastic grille and trim before
    spraying the bed liner on.....

I have the Rustoleum bed liner I sprayed on some steel bed bars. Happy with it on steel. Not sure how it will work on that plastic piece. Maybe locate one off a wrecked truck and do some testing first.

100% go with a "bed liner" I used Rust-Oleum Undercoating both premium and non premium on some parts, its very powdery and flaky after it drys, avoid it. It says it acts as a sound deaden-er, won't know that to be true for sure.

Protection from what? Would not look as good as what you got on now. The surface you have now is easier to clean vs any liner you put on. A smooth surface cleans better and and is easier to maintain. $.02

I have. I sanded my grill and sprayed it. It has held up great with 5K miles and at least 3K miles of interstate driving. I told myself I would get a pro grille once it started chipping but not a single blemish yet.
