Hiya, I have a weird rubbing sound I can't figure out. Sounds exactly like tire lug rubbing on a fender or mudflaps, except it isn't...
It happens when I turn right almost full lock at low speeds. I've stopped and gotten out when it was making the sound. Both front tires have figurative miles of space around them in every position. Stock wheels. 1 size plus tire. No lift. Did it before/after I put skids/sliders/better mudflaps on.

What else should I look for?

    Thanks.

Edit if it helps my newish work truck does the same thing.. But it's a Chevy 1500. But it's not my baby.

Hmmm, my '16 did this and it turned out to be those sheet rubber "seals" (roughly triangular) that are attached to the frame/fender liner behind the front wheels. They had sagged and my Duratracs would rub them when almost full lock in either direction. Worth a look I guess lol.

My truck was not lifted and the tires were stock size.

Hmm, haven't checked yet (many days of solid rain lol). What were they rubbing on? I've done all but crawl under and look at the control arm clearances, but the tires themselves have miles of clearance everywhere else. Just hoping it's not some weird CV boot rubbing or something.

Mine does the same exact thing, following. There is one spot on my morning commute that it happens every morning when going from stopped. Oddly, also right turns only. Mine is 2018 DCSB.

LOL. Sounds like it's just a truck thing. Thanks for the replies. My last truck was in high school and definately didn't know anything about "mechanical sympathy" then.
