Hello! Had a quick question regarding wheel spacers. I currently have a 2016 TRD sport 4x4 and just put 275/65 r17 tires on it but I don’t like how far in they sit. I was thinking of putting 1.25 inch spacers on but I am concerned that the tires will rub the inner fenders. Does anyone have any insight on this?

Did you figure something out on this?
Most people here won't reply to "will it fit" posts. They want you to search through tens of thousands of posts of people asking and comments of "use the search" with zero answers in them. Instead of just saying "mine rubbed" or "mine didn't" or "depends" - they are completely missing the point of user forums where you ask and get a helpful answer from a user with experience quickly and easily. </rant> </runonsentence>
I'm looking at the same size tire, but with a backspacing of 0mm that will put my wheel out about 1.2". I'm wondering if that will rub.

Because of alignment and different tire manufacturers sizes every truck is different. I run 285 75 16 and don't rub my cab mounts. If your worried about rubbing and not willing to trim then you need to get smaller tires.

But adding spacers will usually make you rub.

I recently installed 1” Bora spacers on 265/70/17’s and I barely rub the mud flap only at full lock going over a curb with speed. Normal driving and turning is perfect.

Really only one way to find out! The nice thing is that spacers will usually sell quickly on Tacomaworld if they're of good quality and fairly new. If you don't like it, stick them on the marketplace.

Are you lifted? Do you have those tires on already? What are your alignment specs? It shouldn't be difficult to find someone else on TW running your exact specs and send them a note to ask.

FWIW, I've got 265/75/16s with about 2" of lift. When I added 1.25 spacers, it caused some rub on the mud flaps. It was fixed in 2 minutes with a by placing 2 tennis balls between the tire and mudflap. Then, I hit it with a heat gun and left tennis balls in place until things cooled off. Looks and rides great.

    Best of luck.
