Rubber Duck to show rig appreciation like the Jeepers, or something else?

What little trinket should we start leaving on rigs we think are cool?

My wife told me Jeep folks leave rubber duckies on other jeeps they find particularly cool looking to them. Never heard of it before, but I really like the idea and would like to do something similar as there are LOTS of cool Tacomas and old toyota pickups in my neck o' th' woods. Should I leave some other little trinket or would appropriating the Jeeper's idea and leave a little rubber duck be o.k.?

I’d be confused, and trying to figure out why someone
left a rubber duck on my truck?

I think telling the person, “You have a cool truck” would be a better idea?

I dont get the rubber duck thing. The owner at my job drives a 100% stock 4 door wrangler. He has several rubber duckies sitting on his dash that he has had left for him. Also him and his wife each driving 4 door wranglers definatly makes them uncool to me.

I suggest a dry erase maker.
Sharpie isn’t coming off too easy.

And even then, that might be a bad idea?

    I personally, wouldn’t care.
    But others might?

I would actually be bothered if I found something on my vehicle; first thought would be "why the fuck was someone at my vehicle other than just passing by"

I’m content with the whole “two dudes in a parking lot staring at each others trucks but pretending not to stare and then accidentally making eye contact and maybe nodding but definitely trying to play it cool” thing. No rubber duckie or wave needed.

Putting money under a wiper blade is a way that people are carjacking. Put $ under the blade, driver gets in and starts vehicle, driver gets out to remove money, driver turns around to either a gun or someone hopping into their vehicle.
Not a good idea to do it to express your fondness for someone's vehicle on the DL as jeepers do.

I welcome this money under the wiper blade / car jacking activity. A great way to earn some extra cash and a great excuse to fire off a few rounds from the side piece.
