Anyone know where I can get the actual rubber numbers that go where the door closes for gas?

Also, I just purchased my 04 double cab and I'm curious to know if there's supposed to be some bumpers of some sort under the center arm rest that lifts up. Know where I could get those too?

NICE! That's low mileage. What did you pay for it?

    Dude, that's awesome!

What site did you use to find the part numbers?

I can find most parts on most of the available site online, but some of the smaller items I have trouble with.

Looking for the shift boots (both the 4x4 and the auto) that attach to the underside of the shifter assembly for an automatic transmission truck.

Hey, glad to help. I’ve ordered numerous small, hard to locate parts from the site below.
I’ll send you another link tomorrow from my laptop that I use to acquire part numbers.
I know the bushings you are referring to because I replaced them in my auto.
I’ll include the parts # as well tomorrow.

Here is a link to the site that I use to gather part numbers from. Works best in you key in your VIN number. I then go to the site I gave you above and do a search with that number.
Be careful man....it's a slippery slope when you see all the things you "could" replace.

I read your comment again about the "shift boots" and this may or may not be what you're referring to. The automatic shift bushings (plastic) are what I replaced to tighten up the play in the shift lever.
I did replace this rubber boot while I had it apart.

Part #90385-11003 refers to the diagram below (shift linkage bushings)

    All this because:

Transfer case is in, (manual J shift) need to seal the floor better than what I've currently got.

Worth bumping I ordered part number 9008454010 for the console bumpers. I always thought something was missing, but couldn't find anything in a parts diagram. The console now sits level.

I just got a 2001 Tacoma 4x4 dual cab and I was looking to find these exact bumper cushions below the console! I got them ordered in and now for the life of me I can’t seem to figure out a way to install these little guys. Simply pressing from the top of the cushion just deforms it and it won’t seat and lock in the hole. After feeding the small rubber thread through the hole I can’t grip it well to pull it and lock it in to the hole that is such a tough position . I found some small pliers that if I work hard enough I can grip it but when pulling I am afraid it is putting too much pressure on the rubber and it will break off?

UPDATE: I finally got them in. I used some 90 deg needle nose pliers and put just a drop of silicone oil on the rubber bumpers. And I pulled until they just popped in place.

I was going to say I made a soapy water solution of dawn dish soap and water to get mine in.

Didn’t it feel great getting that first sucker to go in the hole?!
