That's a good deal. Love our RTIC. Every bit as good as Yeti for less than half the price.
If they have them in stock it's a bonus, I waited 4 weeks for mine.

Not super impressed with mine. Still a pain in the ass keeping ice over a weekend with the cooler in the car. It does only marginally better than my $50 igloo cooler. Apparently the 10 day ice claim is only true if you plan on leaving the cooler in a climate controlled environment and never open the lid.

Do you pre cool yours? What about when restocking? Are they drinks/food warm?

I do not precool it but it stays in the garage and even summertime lows are in the 30's and 40's here so it's not like its no where near room temp when I'm loading it. And everything I put in there is frozen or refridgerated overnight.

Maybe i had unrealistic expectations :notsure: Keeping ice when I had my truck wasn't a problem because the cooler stayed in the bed and was cooled off by the airflow while driving. Now the cooler stays inside Runner and even with the AC running it gets pretty toasty in there. Almost impossible to keep ice over a long weekend

Wow! That's strange I've had mine in the bed at the Jersey shore in dead of summer for 3 day weekends and once it's cold at most I've added an 8lb bag of ice.
Our old Igloos would have constantly needed ice in that heat.

Have you tried using milk jugs with frozen water? Even with normal coolers I've found adding one or more big solid block like that keeps stuff cold a lot longer than the normal ice cube bags.

    Id make a claim.

I left my cooler in the back of the 4runner for 5 days. Full of ice, middle of Texas summer, airport uncovered parking lot.

When I got back, it still had plenty of ice and I did NO precooling.

I got a RTIC 30 soft cooler for my birthday and just ordered a 20 hard cooler for my dad for Christmas. Excited to check out the hard cooler. My soft bag has been awesome. Cools down quickly and holds ice even with minimal amounts of ice.
