Just thought I post a few things about the RC speedometer calibrator installed on my 2020 trd off road..
Initial install was pretty simple a few videos on YouTube that you can watch (hypertech and rough country modules have same install) I’m running 315/75R16 and the speedometer was running maybe 4-5 mph slower than I was actually going. after inputting the stock tire size (265/70R16) you plug in the new size in the software easy as that. So go and test drive, but now it’s reading 2mph faster than actual speed (using Waze). Keep in mind I routed the usb connected to the module to the floor for future adjustments. But for some reason after adjusting tire size to 34.5 from 34.6 to get it closer to actual speed the damn thing reset to how it was before (4-5mph slower than actual speed) not sure if it was the case for anyone else that is using the rc calibrator, but after trying it a few more times still 4-5 slower.. So I decided to disassemble it and plug in tire size again without it plugged in to the cluster. And what do you know it’s off by maybe 1mph so I left it as is as it’s close enough to actual speed. So moral of the story even though it was probably common sense. It might not be the case for everyone , but if you are having an issue readjusting after initial adjustment and you routed the usb down to the floor try disassembling it again plug the module out and start over.. thank you hope this helps anyone with this issue

I heard you can adjust shift points with these…is that correct?
Or is it something the calibrator does when you plug in your tire size?

I’m not a 100% sure on the shift points I will say though I have noticed a difference in shift points. There is no way to actually do it using the software, but if it actually does, it would automatically do it after you adjust tire size.
