Rough country seat covers

I bought rough country seat covers….has anyone washed them in the washing machine to get the stink out of them?

I like the material they are made from, well made purchase!!

Instructions mentioned washing them, but I was too impatient. The stank faded away after a day or two
My drivers side cover fits significantly better than my passenger though. Passenger side is all baggy and puffy around the small of the back area

 

I hung them up for a couple days before installing them and then 30 min in the sun before installation. The chemical smell was pretty much gone by then.

Yes I have, cold water with just a little bit of Detergent and open air dry and no issues.

 

I just bought some of these about a week ago and yes they smell initially, but after airing out in the garage for a few days the smell is pretty much gone.

Hope to install them this weekend
