I see. Didn't know they released 2nd gen covers. A lot of us have just been running the 3rd gen covers on our 2nd gens.

So I've had these seat covers on for over 3 years now ..... I posted some pics back in April of 2021 in this thread.

I have some comments and updates.

    1. My driver's side seat cover started to rip in the infamous tamoma seat spot... Right along the seat bolster where you slide in and out . I tore my ACL back in January and getting in and out on a bad leg made me drag my butt more than normal......I sent some pics to RC customer service and they sent me a new set of covers at NO COST ... Pretty good customer service considering I didn't ask for anything.

    2. After having these for 3+ years and 50k+ miles I can say that there is one area of improvement that I decided to modify.. where the round weight tucks in between the seat bottom and the backrest...
    IMG_20230725_115612600~2.jpg
As the covers got more and more use that weighted bar would come untucked causing a lot of bunching and shifting in the cover... I poked a couple holes in the fabric and utilized 2 wire ties in each hole to keep that thing in place... I removed both seats in order to get everything strapped down a little better. Hopefully it holds.
    IMG_20230725_115814276.jpg

Everything underneath is tucked out of the way and strapped nice and tight .. it was worth taking these out.

    IMG_20230725_105828078_HDR.jpg

Took the unwanted opportunity to clean up the interior while the seats were out...

    IMG_20230725_123013253.jpg
    IMG_20230725_105949007.jpg

    ALL DONE!
    IMG_20230725_125821697.jpg

I still stand behind my statement from a couple years back that these seat covers (even with the minor issues) are pretty damn nice for the $100 I paid for them.

Any Update on this by chance?? I ordered 2 sets of seat covers thinking they sent me the wrong passenger seat. Both orders came with the same as you described and they told me they don't have another option for a 2011 TRD. My truck doesn't have the table seat...so I'm a bit stuck. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Yes and no. I complained to Rough Country and they said they would send me out a replacement. I assumed they were going to send out a replacement for the passenger side. They did not, they sent an entire new set. And behold, it was the exact same setup as the original one with the incorrect passenger side if you do not have the table seat. So i just installed the driver's side from the new set onto the passenger side of the truck. Its 99% correct lol.

Oh wow...didn't even think of doing that...other than the airbag being in the wrong place. They asked me to send the seats back that I'm not using...did you have to return yours or were you able to keep them as a 2nd backup?

They didnt ask for them back so i def plan on keeping them. I had no issue swapping the drivers on the passenger side since my truck is old enough i dont have to worry about the side air bags.

I'm interested in these for my 2013 TRD Sport but have questions.

    1. Posts and threads all say the 3rd gen covers fit 2nd gen great. Since then RC has come out with a set for the 2nd gen. So what is the actually difference between 91031 2016+ and 91052 2005-1015?

    2. I have a 2013 TRD Sport. From what I have read they will fit the sport seats fine? With the sport seats being slightly different how do these fit both sport and non sport? Am I missing something here?

    3. Anyone had these for a few years and if so have they faded at all? I had a neoprine set on a jeep and they faded overtime in the sun.

    4. Do the side air bag flaps stay in place? On the same jeep with the faded covers everytime I would get in it the flap would come untucked.

    5. Anyone have heated seats under these? Is this an issue with the material?

I have had these for about 50k miles and 3 years.. not much fading at all...if any, but my truck has tint. RC sent me a new set free of charge and I could see where the padding got thinner in the places you sit when I finally pulled out my old covers, but that's to be expected. Good product and good CS in my experience.

Yes they stay tucked in .. never had an issue and there's people who don't care about the interior in and out of my truck on the reg.

I posted up my long term experience and a picture of how I did my install here.

So for a 2013 sport that does NOT have the fold flat pass. seat I should order the 3rd gen set?

This would get me both front seat covers in the one piece design?

right... It's a pretty darn good fit for a padded waterproof black seat cover. These things have saved me cleaning up those light grey seats several times. At around $100 it was a no brainier for me. I love these covers. I spilled a cup of soda on the passenger seat yesterday. The seat cover repelled all the fluid....... I didn't have to even wash the cover afterwards. I just had to soak up the soda . I couldn't imagine trying to clean up Dr. pepper off my factory light grey seats.

Only issue I have with my set is the driver's side cover moves around now (almost 3yrs old). This also allows the weighted bar to to slide out from between the seat. I really need to take the seats off now and reattach everything.

Yes, Wetokole seat covers are great for various weather conditions. And they are really durable. I washed mine many times and they still look like new.

Just wanted to share that RC customer service is amazing. I recently sent a request for a warranty replacement for my driver's side cover after 2yrs and they sent me a driver's and a passenger side with head rests within 2days via FedEx all covered by their warranty. The inner material layers had separated on left side of the upper bolster side panel and the outer layer was really thin, ready to tear.
So happy they were able to help me.

I love the smell of fresh neoprene in the morning!

I had these but removed. In the summer it feels hot, not really that comfortable. I am installing leather seat covers now with same price

my bank account hates this section
i loved them when i had them to give a more blacked out look. had the or black/grey pattern and the lighter gray was killing me...wasnt a fan of the logo all front and center in yo face, but as mentioned many times the preservation of the seats from general use and the fair price was a no brainer.

after about a year or so of use as my daily driver it started to show its wear and was a bit looser in various areas but thats kind of understandable in my opinion and user based with how you sit/maneuver around your lil cockpit area. only reason i stopped using was because truck got replaced.

i have honestly debated to purchase a set just as a backup to use as needed if i know im going on a trip thatll get a lil messy. throw em on and have fun.
