I just installed a 4" Rough Country lift an I now have a vibration. I have removed 2 shims on rear drive line and it improved but still have a little vibration in steering wheel at 60mph. My question is do you feel rear drive line vibration in steering?

2nd I can not get it lined up. With in .6 on camber, left caster is out by 1.8 right is out by 1, total toe .08 an steer ahead is 0.00 I have no idea what all that means I just snapped pic of the alignment screen. ( pulls slightly to right )

Lastly I had to put spacers on it to clear the knuckle, when doing so let's just say a few lugs got striped slightly so I replaced them. New lugs are longer do you think vibration is coming from out of balance issue due to longer/ heavier lug nuts?

    It's a 2013 Tacoma Double Cab...

do you have a drop bracket installed?

sounds like you need an alignment badly

but to get it back into spec you're going to need aftermarket upper control arms

Drop bracket on front diff yes. It's lowered onto new crossmember. As far as upper control arms I assumed that I did not need them because lift did not come with them.

I didn't think you needed them either with a drop bracket. My buddy had a 6" fab tech with stock UCAs

Correct you don't need UCAs. You lowered everything down so they are at stock angles.

Me an my dad did the install he has been turning a wrench his whole life it went together fine I am confused as to why it's out of line. He also owns a tire shop an has an alinement machine an does them every day. Think I will call Rough Country tomorrow an ask some questions.

Another thing is UCA does not touch bump stop at full droop.... I need to talk to them about that as well.

Yeah man, not to be harsh, but I've gone the rough country brand drop bracket before too... utter crap. Parts didn't line up like the should. Had to do some custom fabricating. My friend even installed a 3" rough country coil lift on his jeep cherokee and the coils sunk down to 2" within 6 months...

Well, had it looked at by some one who installs lifts on a weekly basis an he said all angle look fine. Told me to get the spacers off the front an put aftermarket wheels on it an vibration would go away. Said it's not centered like it should be...

Ordering wheels an tires I guess.... Will let you all know if it fixes it..

I don't, I am not buying wheels or tires from him an he knew that when he told me I needed aftermarket wheels. Spacers are centered by lug nuts an defiantly room for error. Just a generic aftermarket spacer. Not even a Spider Trax that's what I wanted but settled for a no name...

If I put wheels on it an it still has vibration in steering then I will let you no I was suckered!!

Oh ok I didn't see the part where you had spacers on the front. Yes I can see that being a problem with a cheap pair of spacers

Yes your spacers are probably causing your vibrations. If you do run them get the hubcentric ones.

Wheels & Tires installed (spacers in trash) vibration is gone. Also installed fox 2.0 shocks in rear made huge diffrence on ride quality. Moral of the story make sure wheels an tires fit before installing lift an never buy non hub centric spacers.

What do you mean by vibration as in shaking? I’m having problems myself Shooting in the dark trying to figure it out
