    Hey guys

Looking to get a full size ikamper 3.0 in the future, which is 83” long. I have a long bed with an xtrusion bed rack that sits level with my prinsu cab rack.

If i wanted to mount the RTT from the furthest cross bar on the bed rack, it would hang over 2 cross bars on my prinsu rack.

That being said, could i mount it onto both the prinsu cab rack and bed rack? My worry is bed flex off road… So: if i wanted to give the bed some room to flex, how much higher above the cab rack should it sit? 1 inch, 2 inches? Or would that not be a problem, therefore allowing me to mount on both racks…

    Thanks

Bed and cab aren't supposed to be attached so things can flex and twist, don't attach it to both. My GFC overhangs my roof rack by a couple inches so I'd guess that 2" gap would be "safeish".

If you play settlers when out camping let me know where to meet you.

Do not mount to both, let it hang at least 2" above the cab.

Don't mount it to both. You can either cut your rack, buy the half rack for an alu-cab that Prinsu sells, or remove the rack since you won't be left with much usable space in front of the tent anyway. Or what you could do is buy the tent feet Prinsu sells to raise the tent 1" above the rack it is sitting on. That should probably give you enough space for flex.
