Roll/Light Bar... need this, help!!

Hey guys... I’m looking for a “roll bar”. Not a real one that bolts through the bed to frame, just a cosmetic one. I’m starting a BTTF retro style build, and obviously can’t have a BTTF build without a roll bar. I’m looking for one like N*Fab used to make... sadly it’s discontinued and they refuse to make one for me. I know I could just have a shop bend and weld something up... but thought I would pick your guys brains first, see if maybe someone had one or knows where to get one. I found this one on an Avid OffRoad truck, but Brandon says they didn’t make it. FML! I like the smaller tubing and preferably one that would just mount to the bed accessories rail, I really want to avoid drilling into my bed. Please, any help would be great!!!

I have the Black Horse Off-Road bar on my 2016. I had the N-Fab one on my 2013. I didn't really care for how the N-Fab looked on the newer DoubleCab trucks.

I think the chunkier bar works better on the Double Cab compared to the thinner bar on the AccessCab personally. That being said, I have seen the N-Fab bars show up from time to time in the secondhand market.

The Black Horse unit came with no instructions whatsoever. It was a lot of guessing how the hardware went together. Mine is a stainless bar painted (poorly) black. The light mounting is somewhat suspect. I made it work with some creativity, but I really need to strengthen it since the lights bounce on the road, but to be fair, the lights are more ornamental than functional.

Appreciate all the info... but I’m sadly the opposite. I prefer the smaller diameter tubing compared to what you are doing now... I need to find a NFab bar used I guess.

A little more angular is the headache rack with modifier by FabFours. Pretty sure this isn’t what you’re looking for, but just in to lo-fi flex my screen name.

None yet. It’s either two mounted on the bar or go all out and get the Pro6 Gravity 8 light bar. But I’m broke, so there’s that hurdle to overcome.

Damn that looks good....do you have any other pics especially from the side?...and how much bolting to your bed was required?....It's a damn toss up between the fabfours with the modifier, the chassis unlimited octane, or the aries switchback rack.....i've had about 42 pages open on my bar up top for the past 3 weeks trying to find pictures and every website imaginable that might have info on them....barely any out there....I'm new by the way, this is my 1st question/input on TW...so much damn info on this site, it's awesome!!

Nice catch. Yep thats her. Currently in Phase 2 decomm. Fuel removed in the 70's but the NRC gives us until 2031 for license termination

 

She was a beautiful ship, I had a plastic model of her way back when dinosaurs roamed the earth.
