I came from a 5th gen 4runner which had this capability, the interior driver side window switches also auto rolled down all the windows but I've noticed my double cab Tacoma switches do not do this. If you reference Chapter 9.2 in your owners manual it states the custom features available, using the FOB to roll down the windows is not noted.

For reference I have included the page from the 4Runner manual that shows it is available to be modified.

This is the only feature I find useful with a key fob. Personally I would like a window roll up feature. I've never seen a vehicle where you could roll the windows up with the fob.

Most have them roll down to vent the vehicle before you get in. Poor man's auto start A/C Feature.

Even on the highlander 2018 of my wife it is not possible where as in France 14 years ago I had a Skoda "SUPERB" and this function was there. :annoyed::annoyed::annoyed:

I used to drive a 2005 Mini Cooper S that had the auto-down feature on the fob, made it great on hot days to be able to roll them down before getting in. I would be happy if the DC tacos had auto-down for all four windows on the driver's control unit.

That is exactly how I ended up with my Tacoma as well. My sportwagen was a fantastic car, 130k issue free miles averaging 42mpg. Don’t get me wrong I love my Tacoma but my 2011 Vw makes it look like a POS as far as fit finish and features goes. I’m currently looking for an mk7 gti for a daily driver
