I went and purchased the ROLA Ladder Rack 59799 to help me transport my long kayaks for long trips. I have two hobies, outback and PA14. It does the job. Its rated 800lbs with support brackets. I didn't install the support bracket because my load is not that heavy. Initial Install went good. No Drilling or Modifications. Happy with the product. This is used for bed rail system. I also have the hitch extender for easy load up and for short trips, but for long trips, I don't like having items over hang to far.

Price I paid for is the reason why I choose this brand. Quality is great. Fitment is Great. Aside from not being adjustable like thule xsporter (which was my first choice), I have no complaints.

Do you mind telling how much? I looked at their website but there's no prices listed.

Your pic is one from etrailers site!

    Hope it’s still working well,

Was there anything on the legs to keep from sitting directly on the plastic of our bed rails?

I have the same racks for my kayak. Super light, feels solid and I liked that it used the existing bed rails with no mods.

    Cons
    1. The little rubber strip on top of the bars ripped the first time I pushed my boat up there. Not a big deal
    2. I wasnt really paying attention and over tightened one of the "lock" washers used to secure the rack to the rails. The locking mech doesnt really work anymore and I have to jam a flathead in there to get off and remove.
    3. If there's a better way I havent figured it out, but I wish it was easier to leave the bolts and washers together and slide on and off the rails in 1 piece. Mainly bothersome to me because my truck wont fit in the garage with the rack on.

I bought this and haven’t installed it yet. Actually I bought the wrong one, the one made for all other trucks. It’s been so long I can’t return it so now I have 2 sets sitting in the garage. Do you remove it often?
