Another event I missed out on.
How do I find these events?
I don’t mind checking out other folks rigs and talking to industry reps in person.

 

To be quite honest I’m very new into the whole community. I do have friends who who promote various aspects of the community which focuses on the overland aspect which does help I guess. Checkout @overlandculture @trailwolves on instagram.

another great way would be to follow certain companies who specialize in Toyota Tacoma or off road related parts like Baja designs, kings, kc lights, gorhino, most of these companies are California based or have distributors who will more than likely be showcasing at a booth with product and will most likely update their socials about upcoming events.

then just follow local social accounts of built rigs on any social platform. Introduce yourself and ask questions. A lot of the community is great at sharing and providing info.

You could also follow local 4x4 shops who often showcase or have a huge presence of vehicles they’ve worked on. Checkout attica4x4, rpmoffroadgarage, 88rotorsoffeoad to name a few.

Blue FJ with the hood wrap was done at my shop(Fox DSC, RCVs, Icon UCA)! I couldn't make it but looks like a lot of cool trucks!

 

usually a ton of trucks and jeeps, I would get there early if you want a good parking spot to show off your Taco
