I bought a used 2016 TRD Offroad with Rockledge Securities stickers on the windows. I've visited their website and found they're a vehicle security company (flashing light, horn honking, etc., when someone tries to open the vehicle). Looking it up on the web, the security system seems to be installed on various makes of cars, mostly from dealerships also owned by Rockledge's owners in Southern California, and is not too well regarded.

On their flyer, they say that a flashing red LED is present to deter break ins, there's a starter disabler, a vibration sensor, and some other things. I've downloaded the instruction pdfs from the website, but don't apparently have a matching key fob.

I don't see a flashing red LED anywhere in the cab when I've locked it up. Does anyone have this system, what does it really do, how do I use it, and is there a subscription involved?

Not sure why it matters. All Tacos already have the engine "dis-abler". Even the Key start trucks have to have the chip key to start it.

Maybe you got lucky and only have the stickers.

The instuructions should tell you how it arms (many are automatic when the door locks)

Figure that out, then do something the instructions say will set it off and see what happens
