I just installed DS-18 tweeters on my ‘21 (stock head unit & non JBL). I bought Kicker KS 3 way front door speakers which I’m yet to install. From what I’ve read, this will produce even less bass than factory door speakers. I am looking to install Rockford Fosgate P300-8P. Does anyone have experience with this setup or something similar? Is amp required? I’m fine with current volume, I just want some bass.

Amp is built in. It’s a decent option for the price.

    You’ll need:
    8awg power kit
    Redwolf harness
    Maybe 15’ of 18awg wire
    Some red/pink crimp connectors

Thanks for the info. I know the amp is built in for the sub. Would this be an issue if I were to do a kicker key amp for the door speakers as well?

That ported 8" RF pounds for its size. Solid option for the price.

No, as long as you wire it correctly
