I bought a Taco Tunes box that is designed for the smaller bin side and mounts right up the factory mounts. It couldn’t have been any easier to install.

When you say it doesn't fit, did you try the p300-10t? Or the p300-10?

I have the P300-10T which is truck version and it fits on the passenger side rear, with the bin removed and removing the metal latches for the child safety seats. It will NOT fit on the drivers side, it barely doesn’t fit.

Thanks for this info!! I'm currently using the 300p 8 inch powered Rockford Fosgate sub and I'm about to upgrade my stock head unit so I was debating getting a bigger sub. Do you think the 10t is about the biggest Rockford powered sub I could fit? I was going to order the 12t but it sounds like the 10 is the max. Thanks again

Yeah a 10 is the max. I tried a 12T but it doesn’t fit. If you had a longer and taller box it would work. But I love the way it sounds, and wouldn’t change it at all.

Thanks for this information. I've been looking at other options but the 10t sounds like a solid choice

What head unit are you running? Wondering what the installation was like and if you needed extra parts/cables. I'm still running the stock non-JBL unit with an Alpine Powerpack amp.

I am running the stock head unit and bought some cables from Taco Tunes. The plug and play subwoofer harness and the amp harness

@danmtchl did you just remove the 2 hooks or the whole brace the hooks are welded too to fit the 10T?

I took off the hooks, but I put in a different box that goes on the passenger side. Works better since it bolts the box to the wall using the factory screws.
