Looking into some rock lights. Can I get some opinions on them?

Any photos would be cool to of them on at night or where they placed.

I put some on. Cheap enough and let's me see what's around my tires at night. Take your time and solder all your connections and they'll last until you smash them on a big rock.

You should get wheel well lights. Preferably in a crazy neon color

How many lights do you have? Where are they placed?

Was thinking I'd go more basic with the baja designs rock lights. But there's always the 16 million color option from Cali raised that goes to the music if I want to pimp my ride!

There's a whole thread dedicated to pics over in the lighting section, so see there for the most pics. We also sell Cyclone lights which are great for rock lights, bed lights, camp lights, etc.

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/show-off-your-rock-lights.68746/

@jeff b runs these on his truck and they look great! Each one of these 5W lights throws out 516 lumens, and are offered in clear, diffused, amber, blue, red, and green. They are IP 68 rated in a waterproof die-cast aluminum housing making them great for under the vehicle so there aren't worries of the elements getting to them while wheeling.

For wheeling, I'd do the second option above (although the two rear most ones aren't really necessary for that application). This setup would also give you the best 360 light around your truck too. Now if you're wanting to show off suspension or it's more for looks, you can probably get away with just one in each wheel well that's located out of the way of the tire catching it if fully stuffed.

Got them from Amazon. Don't remember the seller. But they were basically 6 for $48.

I have 8. Two on the front bumper, two directly behind the wheel, two in front of the rear tires (I used the threaded holes for running boards for easy mounting), and two on essentially the bedside.

I decided against the wheel well because I didn't want the shadows from my suspension or the big ass shadow of the wheel.

First picture, rear wheel bracket mounted to threaded hole.

Last picture, behind front wheel mounted to custom bracket and into threaded hole.

    Middle picture is bedside

Nice man! I'll probably do the same.

Did you make the mounting brackets or buy them from somewhere?

I just made them from some 1" strap steel. Like 97¢ per foot at lowes. Cut it into smaller pieces and riveted everything together before painting them.

Nice. I guess it's time for me to get into fabrication lol. Hardcore way to start ;)
