Hey all, just wanted to say I absolutely love this website as I learn so much about my Taco from you guys. I'm planning on replacing my hub assemblies on my truck. I currently have dormans and I've heard the quality on them isn't as good as oem. I found these ones on rock auto for 184 and I wanted to ask if anyone else ran these. I also found the Detroit ones for 200 and I've heard mixed reviews about there products. Is it worth the extra 20 bucks to get the Detroit ones? Is there any other good brands similar quality to oem? Tia

There are some things you can cheap out on. Wheel bearings is not one of them. I wouldn't recommend either.

Op doesn't really say if the Dorman's are failing. If they're not failing, just run them until you have to replace them and then go with another brand.

Exactly. Wheel bearings usually give you plenty of warning before they fail catastrophically.

I see the ones on Bluepits website. They are good quality? My truck rarely ever leaves the pavement.

Yes they are high quality. They use Koyo bearings. Most important part of a bearing/hub assembly is making sure to get a Koyo or NSK bearing.
