Only for these trucks after seeing the issues they have off-road. I'm familiar with the Jeep 3.6 having similar issues but have not looked into it.

Honestly most stock engines are going to have some degree of oil flow issue at some angles. Its a non issue for most on road scenarios but people start to run into it with racing and off-roading. Don't know of other vehicles where it is as likely to blow an engine though.

Since my install (July 2024) I have had zero issues. No high engine idle, no issues at highway speeds, no issues with regular street driving. Truck feels exactly the same. I can also confirm that its working as during my last oil change I did not tighten the nut on the AN fitting at the oil cap enough and did notice a little seepage of oil at the oil cap fitting. Not enough to spill over the cap, just enough to be seen on the lower threads. Simple fix, more tight. At every oil change I check the oem valve to make sure the vacuum cap is on and tight. Still there, still tight. I've always changed the oil at right around 5 thousand miles in this thing and will continue to do so. I have been on many long trips, up & down mountain trials and a ton of swamp driving. Zero issues.

1 thing I have had to deal with is space, after the group 31 battery install the oil cap is snug up real close to the battery. Enough room to spin it but it's close enough that the battery gets in the way. Not an issue with the system itself just putting out info as we all have different builds.

Anyone with one of these want to run a used oil analysis when they change their oil? I wouldnt expect to see anything negative especially at 5k but would be nice to see.
