Does anyone has feedback on the new Rinsekit Pro, full electric battery operated.

    "RinseKit PRO"

I want to replace my waterport, which I use almost every weekend. Thinking on getting this Rinsekit Pro because of its functionality an easy-to-use. Maybe built a custom mount/holder to put in the bed of the truck. Anyone has done something similar?

No experience with that. But may I offer a simpler and much cheaper alternative? I have the day tank and weekender and use a little air compressor. The little $30 compressor linked below (or similar) would help you get pressure in your existing waterport.

Thanks for your comment, I thought about that. The thing is that I use the waterport almost on the daily. And a lot on the weekends to clean my outrigger canoe after paddling, myself and some gear, it takes almost 3 full waterport tanks to do so, so I carry an extra 5 gallon scepter water tank to fill up the waterport and its just a PITA to keep the pressure up even with a small air compressor I would need to stop, connect, pressurrize, fill up waterport and repeat. At least with the Rinsekit I could avoid an extra step since the battery in it would last a long time. Hence why I have the interest on getting one.

Makes sense. I seem to get the best performance using the cone pattern in the nozzle. Keeps pressure up and water lasts. 3.5 gallons gave me 2 nice showers and 1 set of dishes.
    Good luck on your search!

I just got one a couple weeks ago.

I’ve been happy with it so far. Super convenient having the battery vs constantly having to pressurize. I’ve also got the auto nozzle with is pretty handy for hand washing (like when cooking)

Got to hear. I might be able to create a mount and secure it on the bed of the truck. Do you reckon it holds against mother nature if left unprotected on the bed of the truck 24/7... specifically high, hot/humid temperature and rain?

Yeah I’m sure it would be fine. It’s all plastic and designed to get wet / dirty. I wouldnt be worried

I just placed an order for the Rinsekit Pro and I was able to use a discount code MY15 it gave me 15% off and they are giving free shipping until the end of the month I believe. Thought to mention this to help out anyone looking to buy one.

Now let's hope this system will work well :fingerscrossed:

@Shellshock if you can, would you mind giving me the dimensions of the Rinsekit pro? I know the website says 17L x 11.5W x 14H I just want to make sure so I can start working on a mount for it.

    Thanks

Well... I recieved my Rinsekit Pro yesterday and honestly I'm not that impressed with its built quality. I gave it a quick short test and it works with no leaks but for the price point I was expecting something with a better built quality. I will use it over the weekend, make a short review and compare it to my old waterport.

On another note, they first advertise price at $299.95 then they increase price to $314.95... I made a comment about it, just out of curiosity on a post from their Instagram page, hours later they deleted my comment which I find it to be weird since I was just pointing out an obersevation. I paid $254.04 for it, to expensive for what it is but will address that later on a review.

Thanks for the updated feedback. I read somewhere on TW of a 5 gallon pressurized aluminum tank where the pressure lasts quite a while - 65psi or similar. Think it's by BAM on Amazon? Has my interest and I have the waterports I mentioned up top in this post. Love my weekender but that BAM caught my attention.

    Good luck!

I built out a shower pretty cheap. Just an option. We use the shower every weekend at the beach.TacomaBed2021.jpg

It's from KBVoodoo. I'm actually selling it if you're local. Shipping is $$$ on it due to size.
