I have a 2013 Tacoma double cab with the flimsy plastic bed molding. I spent a lot on a Diamondback HD cover and continue to have problems getting it to seal against moisture in the Pacific Northwest. The OEM plastic molding is not rigid so tightening the center section deforms enough to not allow a good seal. Silicone caulk doesn't work on the plastic. I'd rather replace the plastic molding with either rigid stainless steel or aluminum molding, giving me a flat surface for the gaskets to seal against. I'm not finding anything on-line.

I have the short bed, TRD off-road configuration.

    Any ideas? Thanks

Thanks. These look real nice. Do you have them? If so, how is the junction between the side rail caps and the front of the bed? I added a piece of mahogany to even it out with the OEM side rails. Should this still be needed? Voodoo doesn't have anything for the front but does have a tailgate cap, which I might not need because my Diamondback cover came with a spacer for the tailgate. If you don't have this setup, I'll contact Voodoo directly and ask them about the fit.

    Thanks again for the suggestion.

I have had then for about 4 years. I currently have a Softopper and a Bed Rack on top of them and never had an issue.

Can you tell me what the length of your rack is, from outside-outside of the tubes?
