We often here these referred to as the gateway light... it's where the obsession with turning night into day begins! :D

Big Power in a Small Package

The Rigid Industries D-Series LED Light is one of the most versatile lighting products on the market today. It produces extremely high output while consuming very little power. Its compact size and shape allows it to fit almost anywhere and be used for virtually any lighting application.

    Torture Tested & Approved

Watch the making of our D-Series after we hit a record number in production, right here in Arizona!

Dually or D2? The difference is what's inside:

The Dually uses our Hybrid Optics System in a 4-LED configuration which comes in either Spot or Flood options. It produces 1,568 lumens at only 15.8 watts and 1.1 amps. To put that in perspective, it uses less power than it takes to use your turn signal.

The D2 has 6 LED's that utilize our Specter Optics System, which comes in either Driving or Wide configurations. It produces 3,096 lumens and uses only 34.5 watts and 2.5 amps. The D2, with it's driving beam, produces the perfect combination of distance and width for lighting up the road or water in front of you.

Our new Hyperspot optics are also part of the Specter family and produce 1760 RAW lumens with a peak beam intensity of 93000 cd. The highest intensity per watt or square inch on the market as well as Maximum Distance!

So what are you, or did you start with?
    The Dually or the D2?

I love the rigid duallys they are the best pods you can get. Plus they are extremely reliable. I just wish that the dually would drop in price somewhat.

Thanks. I am looking to get them as fog light replacements with Rigid's mount. I don't know if I want amber or white yet.

I'm leaning that way but I'm already going to have a 30" white bar in the lower valence so I thought amber might be the way to go.

Thank you for keeping us in mind Matt!

If you already have a 30" white bar (it better be a Rigid lol), the Amber might be a great addition for those dusty or bad weather conditions. The Amber really helps visibility when the White is simply too bright.

Another option if they are a Fog replacement would be going with our new DOT/SAE. These can be used on the streets and are incredible! Take a look at them when you get a chance.

The 05-11 Tacoma DOT Dually + Fog Kit is really popular right now!! We are thinking it will also work with the 04-06 Tundra's.

I think I will be going with a couple of those. I am getting a new bumper with no fog light cutouts so I'll mount those on there. Those come in amber as well?

DOT lights are only offered in white, although the Amber dually covers Rigid offers will fit on them.

If I replace my fog lights with some Amber flood duallys would they be too bright to run in traffic? I know they are not DOT, but are they bright enough that people would be flashing me to turn them off. I just want some ambers to replace my fogs that I can run at all times, and don't want to have covers on them.

We've run the standard duallies for years with no problems. D2s might be overkill for street use.
