    Hey everyone,

I'm a relatively new member. I have never started a new post but i used the search button and came up empty.

What are the best rifle racks available for the 3rd gen taco? Looking for something with a fairly clean/slim look to mount in the cab by the back window.

Sorry if there is an existing thread. I'm on base and my signal sucks so I only had so much patience with my data. SEMPER FI!

They have a molle system that mounts behind the back seats. I just got into the group buy #9.

and VERY VERY visible. Wouldn't mind having something to easily secure a long gun, but I don't want to advertise that much. Especially not in today's political climate. :infantry:

I had one in the back window of my 84 pickup (in the 80's) but wouldn't anymore. In HS lots of us had racks and rifles, but those days are long gone. I'd suggest you keep it hidden. There is too much theft and too much liability for you if some idiot steals it and harms others. The molle system looks pretty good. Personally I carry shotguns to competitions every weekend, and I keep them cased and hidden. They are not my "go-to gun" for self defense from the vehicle anyway.

So not my truck (yet). Mine will be here in the summer. $265 shipped. Should be a cake install.

I really like that headliner rack. Pair that with some tinted windows and the gun will be more or less invisible.

All you have to worry about is the swat team pulling up when you get stopped for a speeding infraction

That's the plan and the tinted windows work great!!

Another reason to consider an AR15 pistol - at least in Washington - the pistol can be carried loaded in the vehicle since it is a pistol with a CPL (Concealed Pistol License, aka CCW).
