    Found a guy who does Rhino Lining here in El Paso and will cover my entire truck for 550. Seems like a great deal and I really admire the strength of it against trails ( I've got a lot of baja pin striping )

    JW If anyone can let me know of the pro's or con's of doing this. I do realize It's kind of like a tattoo. Also he said he could match whatever color for a hundred more.

    This raised a couple more questions like what color should I go for? Would silver look good?

    So who's got tips/advice for doing it, not doing it, upkeep, etc. 550 is a good price. Once I see more pics of his work then I can decide.

    Pros are like you said its really tough, wouldn't have to worry about scratches, and its a pretty strong outer layer to prevent against body damage. Only real con I can think of is it kills resale value. 550 sounds like a really good price to me. Really think it over before you do it though not easy to go back haha. I have seen black, blue, and red all looked good in my opinion. Its really just personal preference.

    I was really looking into it a while back and did some research and what I came up with is this;

    Pros: looks baddass, helps stop scratches, probably easier to touch up than factory paint

    Cons: it'll show dirt pretty well and be tough to clean, guy I was talking to said he had to use a gnarly pressure washer. It's permanent.

    But that's mostly just my own opinion talking here, I might just do it a few more years down the road once my truck has a bit more mileage on her. If you do end up doing it keep us posted!

    Yeah Im with you Ari, I actually have wanted my truck to look like yours since I first saw it. The only difference between ours is you have an AC. I think another con would be I don't know If i could still use my magnetic lil wil cb antenna.
    I read somewhere that if you paint it while it's still drying it will hold it's color better. Cleaning, I mean I keep my truck pretty dirty as is, If it's cleanable though I will do it.

    It's a full body truck tattoo. Silver looks kind of nice too though... hmmm..

    Suprisingly my buddy had his truck Rhino Lined in black and it hid dirt really we'll compared to a truck with black paint. He rarely ever washed it and when he did it sprayed down nicely with a high pressure yard hose.

    I think the resale value is the main concern. Plenty of people want a tacoma, a select few want one with liner on it. That and depending on the quality of the liner, it can fade and come off. If its nice, then it will stay the color you want and will barely show any abuse.

    Too many to list now.
    Keep in mind it's very heavy as well. Might notice a fuel mileage change when you put 100+ lbs of rhino lining on there.
