Hello all, I need some side steps on my Tacoma as the Wife & Parents are short.

    I wanted something:
    - Full Length
    - Flat step
    - Toe guard
    - Good mounts

I don't plan on rock crawling, the only other purpose these bars will have are to help catch stray shopping carts.

The wife picked these out, but there are almost no reviews of it. I noticed they were on the Toyota shop app as a dealer add-on, so I'm hoping that it means they have been received positively.

Any chance you guys run these? I checked the forums and saw two people in the 60+ thread that seemed to like them (@johneman & @Oldie2007 )

A little something every chance we get.
Still love them. Solid. Good step grip, clean easily. Eventually, I resprayed them Rustoleum, because Texas. The mount same as all bolt on, are heavy compared to like Predator steps.

Should I plan to strip and respray or just wait till the original coating wears off? I found a review on a similar product (different size same design) that said something about it not having end caps for the tube and thus rusting from the inside? Just wanna dot my i's before investing in it. I can grab a few rubber grommets to plug the holes if need be

There are no holes to plug. All sealed. Comes nicely painted. Texas is just brutal on black powder coat.

Thank you for your inputs, I'm pretty sure I'll pick these up - I've evolved "weather predicting knees" this past year so good chance I'll be using these soon
