I've had these on my truck now for a little more than a week and thought I'd give my impressions. I have never had any kind of AVS product in the past and my only other experience with window visors were a set of OEM visors from Subaru for a 2012 Outback I used to own.

First impressions are the AVS visors look cheap. The bottom edge of the visor is pretty rough and almost sharp and not cut very clean or straight, and the line is not very uniform at all. Looks fine from a distance, but up close it's easily noticeable. I actually used the small piece of red scotchbrite included thats used to rough up and prep the inside of the window channel to smooth out these edges on the visors. Second, the AVS logo on the driver side visor was screened on super crooked and misaligned. No worries with that though, since a little elbow grease and some Goo Gone and a fingernail under a cotton cloth took the decal off in about 30 seconds. Also, the part number is actually stamped/branded into the plastic and looks a bit ghetto. The also are distort when looking through them unlike weathertechs or the OEM visors I had on my Subaru, which were distortion free.

The pros are they did install very easily without any issues, but for whatever reason one of the rear visors was just a lad too short width-wise. I don't think anyone will notice but me, but seems like it could have been a mm or two longer, while the other side fit perfectly, as did both from visors.

With all that said, they do look great from a distance, but the uneven and sharp bottom edges do kind of bug me, but they were the only think out there at the time as far as in channel visors. Also, I have had sees issues rolling the window up and down, and my front windows were tinted by the dealer when I took delivery, and so far have not had any issues with the windows hanging up or damaging the tint in any way. The are fairly low profile, and in my opinion look way better than the ones that stick onto the outside, yet sit far enough from the window making them very easy to clean in the inside edge of the visor.

So in conclusion these visors do their job perfectly and installed without a hitch and so far have caused no problems with the windows, I just with they would have paid more attention to detail, putting the AVS decal in the right space, not stamping the part number into the actual visor, and finishing the bottom edge so its not as jagged or sharp.

I will snap some pics tomorrow when it's light out and post them.

The question is, do they go all the way down in front of the mirror to the window seal?

No. They cover the top border and the forward sloping section of the window then stop before it takes that downward turn to the base of the window, if that makes any sense.

They stop about even with the top of the mirror.

Just installed AVS in channel today. I like the look of them so far. I haven't tried rolling up and down the windows yet, I want them to stick properly first. The instructions recommend 72 hrs of wait time before rolling up and down the windows. Rolling up the windows after the initial install didn't seem like anything out of the norm. So we'll see. Here's a couple of pics for now. image.jpgimage.jpg

    ???

Yes. Each window deflector has tape/adhesive on one of the sides. I tested out each window and listened for any noise, and they were buttery smooth. Now I will leave them alone for a few days.

I purchased and installed the AVS versions. Got a really good deal from Auto Anything. I think they were less than $50 delivered. I had no issues that were mentioned above. No sharp edges. Fit perfectly. Logo is on straight. Happy with them so far and glad I did not spend the extra $$ for weathertech
