    2011 white tacoma SR5
    Looking to put retro racing stripes(red/orange/yellow) on the front of my generation 2. Dumb question but do you usually put them on both driver and passenger side? I’ve attached a pic for reference

    A few OE parts from fancy trucks
    Chevron or fender stripe is the more common name for that type of stripe.

    Typically applied to DS only

    Used by racing teams for crews to more clearly distinguish the vehicle in case the gumball was hidden by another car...........

    Brought back on the '96 GS as a 'tribute'.

    But the truth is on a street vehicle it's just a cosmetic choice. Do it however you wish.

    Those stripes are a direct copy of Ivan "Iron Man" Stewart's Toyota race trucks. Iron Man had those stripes on both sides of the truck on all of his trucks.
