Does any one out there have the Retrax Pro MX Bed cover ? Reason I ask is I was loading groceries into the back and when I opened it it was like a heat wave came out . I was wondering if all that heat with no air flow back there if that would cause any heat damage to the composite bed and any of the plastic that is part of the bed ? I know that it is made to be out in the elements but with no air flow it traps all that heat in side . Just curious .

I have that exact same model. We have had some very hot days in the Pittsburgh area this summer. Most likely it has not been quite as hot as Phoenix, though. That being said, I have had no damage to the composite bed of my 2022 Pro.

I'm pretty certain that this is a non-issue as Toyota would have taken that into account.

    HTH.

Thank you for your reply Fastbolt . I didn't think it would be an issue but with as much heat that gets trapped under the cover I wasn't sure. So I thought I would put it out there .
