I have a set of Fuel Beast wheels that are 8 years old and have lost their lust. I thought about powder coating but it would change the look of the wheel entirely. Any ideas on how to restore the bronze looking finish? mainly the spokes.

Why not attempt to thoroughly clean them?

I had obtained some nice billet wheels for my old Firebird some years back. I didn't bother with store chemicals and instead found a concoction that made them look new; think it used baking soda, vinegar and some other stuff.

They were pitted, had some weird white residue and more.

Just look something up that's specific for your wheel type and go from there.

I had my CJ wheels "remanufactured" by AWRS 3 years ago and love them. All I had to do was drop off my truck, and pick it up 2 days later. They dismount, strip, repair, powder coat, recut the face, remount the ties, balance, and put them back on the truck. AWRS is a nationwide franchise, so there's probably one in your area. They also have specials every now and then. I got all 4 of my wheels done for $625. There's a bunch colors and options to choose from. I choose black, not the OEM gray color.

Thanks for the input. Decided to paint the black sections and clear coat the entire wheel. Used dish soap to clean them, then used baking soda and vinegar to get the grime off, and rubbing alcohol for any grime left over.
