The torque spec for OEM cushions is 29 ft-lbs. I just replaced them with ES cushions and sway bar mounts. No torque spec was given in the instructions that came with them.

I tightened them until the (greased) cushions stopped turning, then gave the the nuts another full turn, then took a test drive. Came home and tightened them again, this time just 1/2 turn more.
I don't have a warm and cozy feeling about them right now.

How tight should I tighten the nuts on top of the sway bar links?

I use the standard German torque specifications:

    Gudentight.

I think you're over thinking it here.

Also rocking the ES bushings for these. I tightened til I started to see 1-2 threads above the nut. Nothing crazy.

Felt "gudentight" as @jbrandt described. No issues here.

Update: Truck rolls from side to side on the interstate. Last night I tightened them to 120 inch-pounds and today or tomorrow I'll check to see if the side to side sway has been reduced or eliminated.

    4 run, 2 don't
    How's your suspension?

I really doubt the torque spec on the sway bar end links will cause such a change in handling.

I removed my sway bar altogether and feel no noticeable roll unless I'm taking a tight turn at 40mph; even then it's mainly because I'm lifted 2-2
5" which raises the vehicle's CG.
