Just had my oil changed today and the dealer forgot to reset the light. Anybody know the drill? I have did it once but my friend, who also is the service manager, showed me how.

With the key in Off position, hold odometer button in. Then turn to on position, it will count down then clear. The odometer needs to specifically be in 1 of the 3 options. Normal mileage, A, or B. I don't remember which one it is.

Just a tip, I have the instructions stored as a note file in my phone for easy access.

Anyone know.... is this light mileage activated or is there some sort of sensor that triggers it?

4.5k it flashes at startup. At 5k it stays on. If you use the 10k OCI Toyota calls for, just rest at 5k and the next appearance will be changed time.
