hello, does anyone have any photos or videos on how to replace the neutral safety switch on a 2008 Tacoma or similar. I have no reverse lights or no turn signals as well. If anyone has any helpful advice or tips I would greatly appreciate it.

    Thank you

I had to replace mine a few weeks ago. Its located on the passenger side of the transmission. Soaked it with penetrating oil the day before and that helped the switch slide off the shaft. Are you sure its the switch? Turn the truck on and shift through all the gears.....make sure all positions are indicating on the dash when you shift into them.

The neutral safety switch should not affect the turn signals. Do you have an aftermarket trailer harness attached? If so check that module they usually fry out or corrode and cause this issue.

when i turn the truck on none of the positions are showing on the dash, the truck drives fine but it keeps shorting out my AC and turn signals and i get a P0705 code on the dash with a check engine light. If anyone has had the same happen to them please let me know what to do and how i can fix this mess. Also i already checked all my fuses and relays ,they are all in working order. Thank you

I have a 2008 with the same identical symptoms you are describing after doing a water crossing and big off-road trip. Going to order a new PNSS OP did you figure this out?
