Decided to swap out the bulbs in my OEM Switches today with Blue LED versions to match my Flyzeye and Garage Door Switch.

    IMG_1001.jpg

Here's a link to the LEDs I used:

NEOx LED Bulb - High Power Instrument Panel LED

    3MM (T-1) Bulb
    https://www.superbrightleds.com/mor...led-bulb-high-power-instrument-panel-led/221/

And here's a video showing the process for changing them:

    https://youtu.be/qKRd9za-hGQ

Something I omitted from the video, when you pop the switch out of the dash, the bulb is accessible right away, you don’t have to open the switch further. What you see in the video is how it was when I removed it.

I always just laughed at the name. I have them too. How did you get the rest of it white? Are you the guy that posted the intense post about it? (By intense, I mean, too much work for me)

I think the 12-14 version is white already, I did nothing but remove the old and plug the new ones in.

The same shit everyone else has.

The recirc and AC buttons aren’t hard to change. Pull the hvac panel apart and desolder/resolder em. Did this in my truck with red when I did all the other lighting. Definitely worth the time.

My dimmer wheel doesn't work either. I feel like when the previous owner shorted that out, he must have shorted out the lights on climate control board. The AC and cabin air lights still work oddly enough.

I've thought about getting some LEDs and resistors and wiring them into the power lines to the climate control board

you can do the lights by the shifter as well that lights up the gear selections. Here is the led needed. you cannot use a single led, as it only lights up directly above it, so only the "d" or "n" will be lit. This special led has 6 bulbs on it, and casts light in all directions, and lights up the whole row of gear selections. https://www.vleds.com/74-6-c.html
