Disclosure: This is for my 2008 Subaru Forester.

I posted on the Subaru forum but haven't received a response.

Any advice on whether to use an OEM or aftermarket power steering pump? OEM is $392 and Autozone is $340.

I am wondering if they are made by the same manufacturer...?

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
Don`t know enough to make a call but if the price difference is only $50.00 and it was Toyota I would go OEM through your favorite dealer.

That is my feeling, but I tend to be cautious... Thanks for replying...

Just chiming in a bit here, but if you look online you can probably find a dealer selling for less including shipping than your local dealer, and most parts counters will price match other dealers.
