I have the dash pulled out on my Gen 2 to replace the Heater core.

Is there a way to take out the heater core without disconnecting the hoses that lead from the firewall to the evaporator core?

Thanks in advance! I've scoured through the previous posts but haven't been able to find an answer.

I'm pretty sure you have to remove the entire unit from the truck in order to split the case and get to the heater core.

Thank you Jimmy. I appreciate your input. I'll try to take pictures as I put it all back together for a write up.
