Hello all. I just recently purchased a 2005 Black TRD Tacoma and I want to replace the stock halogen bulbs in the headlights and fog lights with LED bulbs. I know how to do the headlight bulb replacement, but as far as the fog lights - what is the best way to replace the fog light bulb? Thank you!

you just grab ahold of the exposed part of the bulb and turn it counter clockwise, and it comes right out

You have to unplug the harness from the bulb before you can turn the bulb out...just replaced mine 2 weeks ago...the only real problem I had was some dirt was in the clip i had to clear out before I could get the harness off

I am guessing I need to pull back the front fender valance to access the light? Or can I remove the whole housing from the front of the vehicle to replace the bulbs?

I just laid on my back and reached up behind the bumper and changed them without removing anything

LED bulbs in stock halogen housings might not be as great as you are hoping, especially in the headlights. Good luck, hope I am wrong

The best approach is to buy housings designed for LED bulbs and replace the whole unit. As stated in several other threads, The Retrofit Source has what you are looking for.
