New to these forums, and here because I've been looking everywhere online for replacement seat foam and seat covers for my Tacoma. The only ones I can find are from Toyota directly, and they're stupidly expensive. Anyone have a source for replacement prefit seat foam?

Believe it or not, an upholstery shop is probably your best option.
We had a Ford F-250 redone a few years back. Cheaper and felt better than the OEM.

I’d at least give a few shops a call.
You might be surprised at the price.

A little of this and a little of that.
    Welcome to TW.

For seat foam, I’d look for a local upholstery shop, preferably auto related, but even a furniture upholstery shop might have what you need.

    Internet for seat covers...endless options.

    Good luck.

^^^ +2. Had my daughter's driver seat repaired, both foam and fabric, at a good shop. Looks like the day it was made, but it's not cheap.

Very much this. I had a local shop sew in a replacement panel for $50. He said when the time came, bring it back and he’d redo the seat foam and bolsters. Quite a really reasonable price. He showed me some finished examples and WOW.

Thanks guys. I checked with one upholstery shop here locally and he wasn't any help. He wanted me to order the seat cushion myself, and then he said he could fix the fabric by sewing in a new piece that would be a "fairly close" match. I'll try another.

Really, I just want to replace the foam myself, and am looking for a source other than directly from Toyota. I'm pretty amazed that dozens of places don't come up doing a google search. The Seat Shop only does Sequoias and Tundras. It's frustrating.

Yes, I'm wanting to keep the OEM fabric, or at least a match to it.
